Outdoor Heating — common questions
Gas or electric patio heaters?
Electric infrared units are low-profile and easy to mount under a covered area. Gas units put out more heat and suit larger or more open spaces.
Can an outdoor fireplace be used under a covered patio?
Many models can, with the right clearances and venting. That's specific to the unit and the structure, so we assess it on site.
Do I need a gas line for a firepit?
For a permanent installation, yes — and we install those. Propane models are an option where running a line isn't practical.
Can I see these in person?
Yes. The Surrey showroom carries our outdoor heating range, and seeing the output in person is genuinely more useful than a spec sheet.
Can you run the gas line as well as install the heater?
Yes. We're licensed gas fitters, so the line and the appliance are one job with one permit rather than two trades to coordinate.
